I love those servo skulls!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you are sticking with the idea of an eldar-obsessed inquisitor. I think that a theme like this, makes your army stand out in the current sea of GK armies.
Nice - that's a slick looking group, I like the servo skulls quite a bit, clever use of bits for the bases! I look forward to seeing it all come together!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, glad to see you posting again; hopefully this means you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I have to agree with Nyhil; the Eldar Theme makes your inquisitor stand out from the Avalanche of GK armies hitting the table top.
Once I get some Purifiers painted the Eldar details will start to be seen more. All my Purifiers (and my Crowe proxy) have the interceptors backpack (the fast attack unit) with the rods removed. So it looks like the back packs have "Imperial" Soul stones implant in them. The fluff is that when a marine in promoted to a purifier squad, he his army connects with the crystal of a previous purifier squad member, giving him access to all the skills and knowledge of warfare the previous users of the crystal knew.
ReplyDeleteAlso while not in the list I was going to take to Nova, I have a unit of Henchman planned that will solitify the Ordo Xenos feel to the army. Eldar "enslaved" psykers, Ork Servitors, and a Jokaro.
Very cool squad. When will we see the other henchman unit. I'm really liking the idea.
ReplyDeleteI have the parts to convert them but have not built them yet.
